Jewellery Care

Jewellery Care

Resin is hardwearing, but to ensure its longevity please follow the below advice.

Resin is water resistant and not waterproof therefore please ensure you remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming, washing up or any other water-based activity.

Please ensure you remove your jewellery when using cleaning chemicals and before applying perfume or any other cosmetics.

Please take care when applying anti-bacterial hand sanitiser, which can react with your milk stone.

Avoid scratching or scraping your resin. If you need advice regarding repair or polishing please contact me.

Avoid light sources, such as sunshine and UV, for extended periods of time as these may lead to decolouration and softening.

Please remove your jewellery before sleeping. Your jewellery should be stored away from sunlight and heat sources. Please store in the provided jewellery pouch and avoid storing in an area of high moisture such as a bathroom.

Milk Stone

Please note, each piece is handmade to order with your breastmilk / optional additions. The colour of breastmilk can vary greatly. Therefore, not every item of breastmilk jewellery will look the same and there will be some colour variation.

All stones are carefully preserved, however, please be aware that there is a possibility each piece could change colour slightly over time.

Each piece is poured by hand and as such air bubbles can appear in the resin. I ensure these are kept to a minimum, but some may still be seen in your stone.

Please refer to the terms and conditions for further details.
